Field operations audits that see what dashboards can't.

Data tells you what happened. A field audit tells you why. We go on-site and evaluate every layer of your operation: canvassers, directors, office infrastructure, turf quality, and culture. You get a written report with a fix plan.

Operations seen through the eyes of 17 offices across 6 states

A field audit is not a walkthrough. It's a structured evaluation using codified methodology built from running 17 offices across 6 states at scale. We assess leadership quality and capability, operational systems and execution, culture and team dynamics, individual canvasser performance and behavior, and infrastructure and resource adequacy. Pattern recognition comes from hundreds of site visits. When we leave, you have a written report that tells you exactly what's working, what's broken, and in what order to fix it.

This works for multi-site programs with inconsistent performance, vendor programs you can't visit yourself, organizations considering expansion or contraction, and new leaders inheriting operations they didn't build.

Who it's for

What we deliver

Multi-day on-site evaluation

We spend 2–3 days at each site we audit. We're not stopping by. We're evaluating canvassers, directors, office conditions, and culture in real time.

Structured assessment of leadership, operations, culture, and performance

Director competence. System execution. Team dynamics. Canvasser behavior and effectiveness. Everything gets evaluated against consistent standards.

Turf and territory quality analysis

Are you working good neighborhoods? Are territories distributed fairly? We evaluate turf potential and territory assignment.

Infrastructure and resource evaluation

Office setup. Equipment. Materials. Technology. We note what's working and what's hobbling your team.

Written report with findings and priority recommendations

A detailed report that lays out what we found, what it means, and what to fix first. Not a laundry list. Prioritized by impact.

Follow-up implementation support

Optional. We can stay engaged to help you execute the fix plan. Quarterly check-ins, coaching, system design.

What you'll know

Clear picture of operational health across sites

No more guessing. You know which sites are strong, which are struggling, and why.

Leadership bench assessment

You understand director capability and cultural fit. You know who can lead and who can't.

Actionable fix plan with owners and timelines

Not theoretical. Real recommendations with responsible parties and implementation timelines.

Timeline

1–2 weeks per site for on-site evaluation, plus 2–3 weeks for reporting and analysis. For a 5-site program, expect 8–12 weeks total.

FAQ

How many sites can you audit?

We typically audit between 2–10 sites per engagement. With more than 10 sites, we'll do a strategic sampling where we audit top, middle, and bottom performers to identify system issues. For very large programs, we can design a phased audit across multiple years.

Do you audit vendor sites?

Yes. We audit vendor sites on behalf of the organization. Vendors often cooperate because they want your perspective. We're direct with findings but professional in delivery. Vendor audits often lead to governance conversations.

What does the report include?

A detailed written report that covers leadership assessment, operational systems evaluation, culture and team dynamics, canvasser performance observation, infrastructure notes, and priority-ranked recommendations. Reports typically run 20–30 pages per engagement. We also present findings verbally and answer questions.
